Dr. Winkler’s good friend, Jack, passed away in April 2011 with his family at his side. Jack was rescued in St. Kitts by Dr. Winkler after suffering a badly broken leg. Although Jack had a permanent limp from his accident, his energetic nature and charming personality did much to overcome his physical limitations. He is missed very much by all those who knew him, and his memory always brings us comfort.
